    ;)

    Yeah...not this season's...we don't have one this draft. :(

lol...I did not hear it anywhere...

But I really wish that happened.

    I mean...

Salaries and all that limits are balanced...if Elton Brand makes around $12 million per season.

Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin, Terence Morris, Kelvin Cato, and a 1st Round Draft Pick are heading to the Clippers
    FOR
    Elton Brand and Quentin Richardson!

Since they do not want to pay for Elton Brand maybe...they could exchange him for Eddie Griffin...who has a lot of potential...and Cuttino Mobley, one of the top 11 shooting guards. Cato would replace Olowokandi. Terence Morris would fill the need when Lamar goes...and the 1st Round Draft Pick makes it even lovelier!

Of course..if I was Houston....I would definitely accept.

If I was Los Angeles...I would accept too...since we don't want to pay Elton Brand all that money...and Quentin Richardson is gonna ask for quite a bit of money when next season ends and his contract expires...and they get a bunch of cheap, young players. And they also get another 1st Round Pick...which they love. And since they will be sucking...they might get a #1 Overall Pick someday! And become good! And have a low payroll!

    I wish!
    :p

I don't know if there is any truth at all to the rumor. It would leave us a little short (bad pun not intended but recognized) in the center department.

If we could nab a decent backup center on the free agent market, then I could maybe see such a trade.

And if Cato is making about, say, $8 million or more per season, I don't know if Sterling would be willing to pay that. He wouldn't pay that amount for Kandi. He hasn't paid it for anyone else.

Come on now, KeepJuaquin; where'd you hear the rumor? This isn't just a dreamcast, right?

    Sorry!

    lol....:(

    But I wish.

And Yao Ming will be playing more minutes. Elton Brand could move to center when Yao leaves and Mo Taylor can play power forward. Or Mo Taylor and Yao.

    And Clippers...yeah you are right.

Then maybe give them Glen Rice? Who's contract expires after the season? Maybe that would be more appealing to them...

    Heh. I wish.

Yao Ming is going not leaving the Rockets any time soon.

I think he is just falling for the rumor that when Yao Mings contract is up then he will bolt for NYC or LAL. That is not going to happen.

I think KeepJuaquin was just answering the comment about the Rockets being short in the center position by saying that when Yao goes to the bench, Brand could fill in at center. He did not mean that Yao would leave the team.

He said, "from what I hear...". That's what I was referring to.
There's not anyone who would like Brand on the Rocks more than me (well, maybe ;) ) Yes, he could put in minutes at center, if needed.

No kidding! If Doc is gonna update something, it won't be in this 40 page piece of dreamcasting garbage.

But McBeth's pornstar thread in the hangout section is probably going to overtake this one, though.

    It is not true!

    But I wish it happened!

And I meant.....when Yao leaves the court and heads to the bench. :) NEVER SHALL HE LEAVE THE HOUSTON ROCKETS! I hope not......

    ANYWAYS.

    SORRY FOR ALL THE CONFUSION.

    I wish it happened.

    KEEP THAT FUNK ALIVE!

Why let it die, when there is so much to talk about, especially with the announcement in Austin today. Why not try and draft TJ Ford? He's about the closest thing to a true PG that has come out in a long time. He's got the passing skills, finds the open man, he can drive past anyone, and would definitly draw some attention not to mention, he would be the best defender on the team. Move Francis over to the SG, trade Mobley and Griffin off and get Odom......oh, was that out loud. Anyway, back to my real question, why not try and get TJ Ford?

    Why not?

He is short. He got injured. That's it!

I WOULD LOVE TO GET HIM.

Mobley and Griffin for Odom? Odom isn't that good FYI. Odom for Mobley would be enough.

    TJ Ford
    Steve Francis
    Lamar Odom
    Eddie Griffin
    Yao Ming

But the thing I don't like is no veteran leadership. Lamar Odom is a good player. I've never seen him talk. Maybe he is unhappy in LA. I don't know. Eddie.....you know.

I'd rather get Elton Brand and Quentin Richardson. :D
    Steve Francis/Moochie Norris
    Quentin Richardson/Steve Smith/Juaquin Hawkins
    James Posey/Bostjan Nachbar/Glen Rice
    Elton Brand/Maurice Taylor
    Yao Ming

Bad wording...I didn't mean Mobley and Griffen for Odom, I wouldn't do that either. What I would do is Mobley for Odom, and then work on Brand :)
