I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Haha true. I miss the Concorde.

The last year we sent a man to the moon was 1972. Think about the phenomenal strides we made in the 60s (watch "The Right Stuff", "From the Earth to Moon", and "In the Shadow of the Moon") to accomplish the then-impossible goal of sending a man to the moon. Yet we did.

Americans have an astonishing reservoir of energy, human capital, personal beliefs, and determination to get things done when they have to. It took the launch of a metal ball by the USSR in '57 to rally us, and the above-qualities were harnessed so that just over a decade later, in one of the most significant moments in history, Neil Armstrong planted our flag on the Moon.

    lol true true.

I hate the layover I always have in Amsterdam.....just adding to the wasted time on my trips....Atleast the planes are more comfy now, and more entertaining (more stuff to "distract" yourself with instead of watching the time go by on your watch.)
