I dont like this trade. I think our current line-up including our pick this year (hopefully CDR) is championship calibur. We just need to stay healthy.
what do I think? Sina gets their farts from here, so it's as credible as a random poster here. Don't open a thread if the source is sina.

Turkoglu's averaged 15.42 points a game the past 4 seasons for the Magic. He got almost 6 more minutes a game this season, thats why his stats went up. His 19 points a game might have "come from nowhere" but really he's been a soild player for a while. You'd have to take a good look at Battier for Turkoglu, but like someone pointed out Hayes for Redick is NOT an even deal. Hayes has done his specialty role for 2.5 seasons, 2.5 more than Redick's done his. There's already shooters on the team with Head and Novak. Adding Redick would be redundant.
Where did you get that from???? Pls. That will never happen unless Memphis GM will be Orlando GM next year. How in the world did Orlando going to score in the 4th quarter without Turkoglu?
i would probaly do this trade but with few other exceptions. and i hate to leave battier, but i think it is for the best.
If there's even an ounce of legitimacy to this rumor it's nice to see quality and affordable players are actually out there for us. This trade, even though I would decline it, is very fair and advantageous for both teams. As for my thoughts on Hedo Turkeyglue, i've said it before and i'll say it again: good player, bad fit. Hedo at the three would be the antithesis of everything we're trying to do with our defensive wing matchups. Hedo at the three means Hedo ONLY guarding three's thus making T-Mac our best wing defender. T-Mac playing average defense and great offensively for four quarters is already an issue let alone him guarding the Kobe's of the world? Pass. Pass. PASS! Let's stick with Battier, upgrade our bench and find a better PG or PF (no offense to Scola, of course).
Sounds too good to be true. Hedo was their best clutch scorer in the playoffs, what would prompt them to trade for a 'glue guy' who doesn't score?
According to sports.sina.com.cn http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2008-06...583702998.shtml Cavs want to trade lebron and wallace for battier and hayes. wut do you guys think?
i know. didn't people say our defense was gonna suck without JVG and it got better? we were fine with defense with francis and mobley. we were fine with perimeter defense with tmac and wesley. we were fine with defense with tmac and battier. and we'll be fine with whoever we put in there. the defensive philosophy JVG instilled into the players are there. defense is about effort and determination. we have those players. offense takes SKILL. we need more of that.
Have you guys seen Hedo play? I swear i didn't know how good he was till i did, he's relentless in driving to the hoop and can get his own shot up...better off we have too many damn midgets! One thing puzzles me, after JVG left how did our defense get better? We were the 2nd BEST defensive team in the league!!! It makes no sense , could it be Mutumbo playing more minutes?
our defense has always been predicated on team help defense. battier may have guarded kobe, but whenever kobe put the ball on the floor, guys came over to help. battier does do a great job of contesting every shot, but it was more of our team defense than anything.
