i've been an nba live guy all my life...since 95. i think i should make the switch. what is so good about 2k7? I mean here is a few things i like about nba live 07
    1) tmac is on the cover

here are some things i dont like
    1) players can shoot at will and make about 100 3 pointers in a row
    2) defense is weak, i can be right in someones face and they will hit the shot
    3) the gameplay is slow
    4) im sure there are other things

of course im talking about the ps2 version of the game

I think someone should start a thread where we can vote whether we think cd is a great gm and has picked up some great players or whether the players just seem to fall on his lap.

Everyone knows that quote is complete BS. He's playing for his next contract, and he knows if he's a solid citizen and a solid contributor on a championship/deep playoff team, he'll get more money the next time around. I don't remember him pulling any weird **** in Sacramento either, so I think he'll keep quiet this year as well. If the Rockets sign him to a long term contract though.....

Its true in the sense that he can afford to take less money and position himself to win a championship with the Roxs....vs. getting a $50 million contract from the ShiitCats and have no chance for a championship run. If he were starving, he would have taken the rich contract.

Best case scenario for him, Rockets/Bonzi win championship and he gets a richer contract from the Rockets. Second best, get to the finals(either west conf. or NBA) and lose  and Bonzi being an important piece is richly-retained by the Rockets to win it all the next yr.

Beyond that, as long as he plays hard and is a team player and showcases his skills in the postseason---either the Roxs or another team will bump his pay.

Great to have him here

From what I read the Bobcats weren't actually interested in Wells, and his agent was trying to make them interested because they were the only ones who could offer lots of money. My conclusion is that since Bonzi is with the Rockets now his agent failed in this attempt.

If the Rockets do win a championship, which is a real possiblity now, and I am serious, the the Rockets will roll out an attractive contract. Bonzi would probably be elated with what Maloney, Cato, or Mo Taylor got. (I really can't remember, but those were ridiculous contracts)
