GOD. I don't care. Shaq and Yao and Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan all together would just dominate. Nobody could possibly score against them in the paint. Maybe Jermaine O'Neal running and dunking it. Dirk Nowitzki at the POINT. WHOOO. I would like to see that for about one minute. They would really just win completely since the East has no big men at all. BIG Z??? lol...BRAD MILLER?!?! HIKANOO? Are you dumb? Do you just hate Francis? And Yao did pretty well against Ben Wallace in the summer. I feel sorry for Ben Wallace since his mother just passed away.
No. I dont hate the "franchise". But the other names that I mentioned are the BEST @ their respective positions. Clearly, "franchise" does not belong. I do think he could be the 2nd best SG behind Kobe in the Western Conference however. So no, I dont hate him. I think he is a good player.
Since Duncan has not played that position before now this lineup below will make moresense; 5 - Yao 7'5 4 - Shaq 7'1 3 - Nowitski 7"0 2 - Kobe 6"6 1 - Garnett 7"0 Average height = 7"0' Combined height total = 28"0' Tallest lineup in NBA history!
How can you possibly say that Francis does not belong with the BEST @ his respective position? Only Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson have done what Francis is doing right now, as far as numers are conserned @ their respective postitions, and @ the respective start of their respective careers. It feels like I'm beating a dead horse around here today.
Roc, I like Francis and I cheer for him every game but I still do not think he is a PG. Yes, he gets around 6 assists but AI gets 5 playing the SG. Dont get me wrong. I am not down on Francis. I say this because I think he has SOOO much potential that he can revolutionize the position if he played smarter and learned how to play more of a team game like what a PG is suppose to do. If I didnt think much of him, I would be thrilled at his performance. But I have VERY HIGH standards for our "franchise" player. Its possible that he may change his ways but as of now, I see him as a MUCH better SG than PG.
Yeah the scary thing is that it could actually work okay because KG and Dirk are both pretty decent ball-handlers! And could the East get a layup in the paint against this lineup? Could the East get even a rebound?
Fegwu, Kobe's too short, get him out of there. You can't have an all-seven-footer lineup with a guy who's only 6'6". But, I think the East would do better than ya'll think against a big line-up like that. Do you think Nowitzki and Garnett could get back fast enough to keep Iverson off the fast-break? Even so, they need to run it if even for just a couple minutes. After all, if the All-Star Game isn't the time for such nonsense, I don't know when is.
