Our luck is absolutely the worst in the world, why? Is there seriously a reason

2005, Mavs vs Rockets, Juwan Howard gets injured and Game 5 was the worst officiated game ever

2006, Both our stars are injured

2007, Utah gets a few offensive rebounds in the 4th, Bonzi quits

2008, Yao gets injured, Refs love Jazz, Okur gets an offensive rebound

Why are we so unlucky, does God hate us? Why us? Why cant T-Mac have not said last year "its on me", Why couldnt he get to the 2nd round? Why are our stars injured every year? Why do we miss free throws? Why does Bobby Jackson shoot like ****? Why is Rafer inconsistent? Why does Luther even exist?

Guys, its like a curse, I seriously cant stand this unluckyness, how long are we gonna go through with it?

only losers like the Red Sox blame their failures on jinx and curses and we know we are better than this.

that's supposed to be a bad thing?

    paging Zboy :D ..

stop blaming it on luck dude.. it's not luck, it's how much you put in, how much you want to win..

but I am starting to have a new theory.. I was wondering, if you're an NBA player, you don't get paid more for the playoffs, so you're basically working overtime for a stupid ring that u can buy any time you want.. now, why would you want to work overtime, stay away from your family, and endure the physical punishment of the playoffs? to hell with the playoffs, let's just get swept, and I get to go home with my family and my nice little baby and I watch other teams play, while still having the same amount of money..

even thought this is ridiculous, I think that's the way it goes, and that really explains a lot ..

There is playoff money. It's not a ton, but it does exist. Afaik, based on the seeding of the team, and its performance in the playoffs, it gets a cut of money from a playoff pool given by the league. The players then divide it among themselves.

failing to grab a damn defensive board and making more than 50% FT is not luck

Losses will eventually lead to success if you learn from the losses.

Something that the Rockets need to learn immediately:

    1. Practice FTs
    2. Be more physical

Rockets still have chance to make it to 2nd round this year.

all they have to do is win 4 games in a row against Utah!

    :D

If you truly believe that, then you cannot be watching the same Houston Rockets squad that I have been watching since February and in this series. You have to realize that we don't have our best player, our most important player is basically playing with his whole left side bandaged up, our best defender is running around on an injured foot, and our best ball handler has to stretch his groin during every timeout. This team plays its ass off and leaves nothing on the floor while clearly being undermanned and playing against a Utah squad that is 100% healthy with the exception of William's assbone ( :D). My hat goes off to these guys! Great job!

Plus, we get absolutely no love from the refs!!!

Actually, we only need to win 3 games in a row.

2005 - Mavs were the Better team, Tmac still was an "amazing player" with a chance to change his career with a new team.

    2006 - Yea

2007 - Finally Tmac isn't the underdog in the playoffs, Jazz expose our weaknesses, Rebounding, Lack of size at the 4, & Chuck Hayes...

2008 - We head into the playoffs crippled, no Yao, no Alston, Hobbling Battier, and T mac heavily wrapped up with heating pads, ace wrap, thumb straps, and bengay. Yet some how Utah is still having trouble with us.
I'm not sold on the Jazz at all after playing these games, if we somehow dont get the spirit of Clutch City in our players hearts, i see the Lakers absolutely tearing them up in 4 or 5...

hasn't Utah been healthy all season, if so how is it that the best they can do is claim the NW title. Kobe's Lakers sucked for pretty much half the season, than they lost Gasol & Bynum, and finished 1st

we lost Yao and finish with the a better record than them...

The Jazz are struggling against a team with no starting Center, a injured PG, an injured defensive specialist, an injured SG, and they STILL struggle to beat us.

We are better than them. We just didn't execute. I have a strong feeling that they are going to get demolished by any fully healthy team.

I'm proud of our team, regardless of how things turned out. We didn't give up and honestly, that's all I care about from season to season.

The Jazz SHOULD have kicked our you know what this series. They are fully healthy. The Rockets haven't been fully healthy in damn near 5 years.

Just pray we get one full season of TMAC and Yao TOGETHER along with the bench doing what it has done this season, and we WILL be dominant. But to expect this much of a team with so little is unfair. They have done insanely well given the hand they were dealt.
