Fringe isone of the very best television shows on right now, period. Noble is taking this part and absolutely OWNING with it. Whatever acting awards TV ever gives, if he does not win it every time, then the award is worthless. How would you like to be the guy who had to choose between working on this show, and working on something like Knight Rider? LOL Fringe? What is that? Never heard of it! Oooh! Knight Rider is coming back? Cool man, I want to rig lights on THAT show!
Love the show on an episode-by-episode basis, but I'm not really getting the recurring story line or seeing the "big picture." I'm not sure if the creators really even had a full plan in mind. The first few episodes it was all about "The Pattern," and I don't even think they've uttered those words since the show returned from the break.
I've been catching up. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been able to watch episodes 1 through 10, but I still have 9 episodes to catch up on. I think it's okay. To me, it's one of the few current TV shows that is actually watchable. I have a few problems with it, though (1) They leave too many loose ends. Example: When they finally rescued the piano-playing kid, they never got the formula from him - only the bad guys did. (2) Too much of the 'unexplained' stuff that they have in it is just too over-the-top corny, implausible, stupid garbage. It's watchable and enjoyable. I like the characters. But X-files was light years better than this.
That's because they have figured out what the pattern is. The pattern is the work of the William Bell or the people following him and that is Destruction Through Technology book that he wrote. At least that was my interpretation.
exactly, and now we know that everyone that this stuff is happening to is from Jacksonville, Florida, including Olivia (the main character). Olivia along with the others were experimented on as children by Bell and Walter, but Walter cannot remember, he just knows that something bad is going to happen where they will need the people they experimented on. At least that is what I have gotten so far.
For being shot just hours ago, Nina Sharp sure is a quick recoverer. She's up and talking like it never happened.
is it me, or is this show getting waaaaaaaay too complicated i mean, i like the 'smarter' shows, but this is quickly spiraling to a big ball of yarn
So, parallel universe, spock is bell and peter's other self is died as a kid...crazy...i can't wait for next year...
I remembered that, but she still got knocked unconscious and was bled quite a lot. To recover from a flesh wound to the ribs like that...that's still a quick recovery. Is anybody else getting tired of the farfetched ideas? Like Royals Ego said, it is getting way too much.
Not really I don't to repeat of the Xfile.s. . i don't mind them explanding BTW - I wonder when the OPPOSITE version of WALTER shows up Not so adlebrained and very pissed about his missing son Rocket River
Same here, I don't mind all the far fetched stuff, they pretty much established that tone very early on in the series. I'm totally looking forward to see their opposites, esp. Walter who'd had his son stolen.
I absolutely LOVE this show. I was sad to see that it was over but excited about the new season starting in the fall! Way better than x-files IMO..
Man great show. I always sensed that about peter not actually being the peter Walter grew up with but I never thought about the idea of the other Walter coming to look for his son. What a scary thought. I guess that's why Walter invented the plug. That way bizarro Walter couldn't come after him. Definitely looking forward to next season and I want to see how Peter reacts when he finds out the truth.
