Had one in college before I met my wife. Worked out pretty well. We'd typically be at the same bar on a given night. If nothing worked out for either of us, it was on.
Done it a handfull of times. Typically date a girl for a few weeks both realize that there is no chemistry a few weeks into it but continue fooling around for a while/drinking/partying etc. but no typical dates... Works out pretty good usually ends when one of us starts to see somebody else....
