I've never met a celebrity in my life. Don't know if that's unfortunate or fortunate for me or them.

I've met/ran into athletes more than actresses/actors and so on.

I would have to say Shane Battier and Eva Longoria were most friendliest.

    Shane Battier:

1st encounter: I saw him at the Iziba bar with a few of Chicago Bulls players (Hinrich and a couple of players that I can't recall). I acted a total idiot. I told my hubby, let's go over there and say hi. So we went over and I spaced out. I just gave him a thumbs up sign and he smiled back. My hubby still makes fun of me about this.

2nd encounter: I was on the courtside for a work function prize (Being one of the people to receive a ball from the starting players) and standing around. The players were doing the shootaround. I was wearing a battier jersey and he saw me. He told me that he loved my jersey.

    Eva Longoria:

I heard that she was doing a cookbook signing last year so I had to go and meet her! Hubby and I went and we had a picture taken with her. She's gorgeous in person! So petite. She showed me some of sign language.

    Side Note:
When I worked for the Rockets back in 05, I would occasionally see the players when doing an assignment but I never socialized with them. I went to the holiday party later that year. Most of the players that time went. They all were pretty cool. I was in an elevator with a friend and T-Mac walked in. He kept to himself and didn't say hi to us.

Oh yeah, I literally rubbed elbows with Andre Johnson. I was at Skybar with my friends a few years ago. I went to the bar to order a drink then I turned around to go back to my friends. I ended up getting stuck behind three people. I tried to wedge through and I actually pushed the person who was pressing against me so I could get out. I turned around and saw it was Andre Johnson who was talking to a chick.

That is all I can remember. I would LOVE to meet the eye candy in my thread!!!

More like "casual encounters". She gave Battier the old thumbs up, then went to a hotel and "rubbed elbows" with AJ.

The closest I've met would be Travis Knight (former UCONN, Celtic/Knick/Laker). He lives on Lake Conroe and a good friend of mine was his college roommate. Got to hang out at his house a couple of times. Very nice guy.

Bun B- Awesome. He does Sports Rapp Live with a friend of mine Thursdays at Junction Bar. Really cool dude.

Trae Da Truth- Real cool. Met him backstage at warehouse live when Yelawolf was in town.

Killa Kyleon- Nice guy. Loves Patron. Actually seen him a few times. Always cool

Slim Thug- Met him at a Killa show at HOB. Walked by him and I shouted "Thugga!" He actually reached over and shook my hand and said "What's good wit ya?" He gained my respect for not being a dick.

Steve Francis- In 02 at the galleria. I asked for his autograph and he told me only if I carry his bags around while he shops. Lol. Got it anyway.

Oscar De La Hoya- Book signing in 2008. Very nice guy. I was honored to meet him, and it remains one of my favorite moments in my life.

Jennie Finch- Astros game. Easily the most beautiful woman I've shared words with.

Jordan hill- Galleria. Got a pic with him, seems cool.

Nick Tershay(Diamond Supply Co.) backstage at Curren$y show. Real cool.

All these I listed were "friendly" I didn't list everyone but this is off the top of my head.
