the french don't know their toast nearly as well as they know their fries. pancakes all the way for me.
If I have to eat them at Jack in the Box, IHOP, or Denny's, I'd rather just go hungry. At home, it's a toss-up. French toast is faster to make and dirties fewer utensils so that gives it an advantage in hassle. If I have blueberries or pecans or something on hand, though, I may have to give pancakes the edge. Of course, if I have apples I have to go with the Puff Apple Pancake.
What the **** is that? What's that thing in the bloody water? What are those disc shaped things along the outer edge of the bowl?
IHOP's pancakes suck but denny's are great. just a notch below mcdonald's, which for some reason are my favorite pancakes.
Pancakes in a landslide. My favorites are Whole Wheat granola from Le Peep in Houston and All flavors (Whole Wheat, Buttermilk, Gingerbread) from Magnolia's in Austin.
French Toast AND Pancakes. A decision is impossible. I love both, but if forced to choose, I would take french toast, it is one of my favorite foods.
Its curry with meat and potatoes and those disc shaped things are the Roti Pratas. If you find a good Malaysian or South Indian restaurant try them. Anyway that pic is far less disgusting than the pic of the waffle with bacon that thing looks like a a manhole with chewed up roadkill.
