That's a damn fine roof on that building. I hope the idiots don't dirty the place up too much while they're busy making damn fools of themselves.

Slow down... These guys are morons and thugs and assholes and criminals and chiselers and etc.... but you don't know what you're talking about in the grand scheme of things, regarding land rights on federal land in the West.
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/bundy-oregon-showdown ... But the case of the 2014 Bundy ranch standoff, the Bureau of Land Management's initial decision to de-escalate the conflict hasn't produced much follow up. “They basically just backed down and presumably decided it wasn’t worth it and this was viewed as a big success by people at the ranch as well as anti-government extremists across the country. Seems to me that now would be an excellent time to arrest Mr. Bundy while his idiot sons and sympathizer are holed up in Oregon. They could also use civil forfeiture to seize all his livestock. Would serve the old tax cheat right.
When are the two threads gonna get merged? I agree, this is nothing like the riots in Ferguson and Baltimore. It's not like Waco. It's like subduing a small group of armed and belligerent criminals, which we do all the time except apparently with militia-types. These guys should already be in custody for the 2014 incident. I don't know why the DoJ hasn't done anything about that issue. I can believe the Bureau of Land Management is paralyzed and inept, but not the DoJ.
