No, it's not sad, at least not the Rockets part of T-Mac's story. He got paid $17,000,000 this season. That works out to $46,575 dollars a day, year round. Part of earning all that money is going out and getting wins and losses. Sometimes you lose. Dry your eyes with some thousand dollar bills. Maybe T-Mac would play better if he only made $46,000 a year instead of $46,000 a day. Hm, maybe he wouldn't play at all?

This puts things in perceptive. I do feel a little sorry for him that he has lost people close to him, but many of us can say the same thing. When he makes $17 million a year to play a game he loves (or should love), I can't feel sorry for him that he hasn't been able to get to the second round of the playoffs.

u think money buys happiness? for his family sure, but professionally, i dont think tmac has ever been happy since he never got out of the first round. and the pressure continues to build.

me personally, i wouldn't want to make all that money if my life was put under a microscope and all my move was criticized, just like it is right now. people would call me being a p***y for being human, but they put u on a higher pedestal simply b/c u make more money.

i dont think kobe has been all that happy either and he is getting more frustrated yr by yr.

the type of money u make in this business is b/c it's entertainment and the owners make a lot of money. the fans are willing to pay. so the players are going to get that money. if u dont like how much they make, dont watch them or go to the games.
