Im sure if you call and say you were planning on getting Sunday ticket until this whole debacle went down that they would probably get it to you for free.

I got $15 off for 6 months plus $5 off my HBO for a year and 6 months of free show time. I tried for 20 minutes to get nfl season pass but couldn't pull it. I hung up on the first lady i talked to who only offered $5 off for 2 months. Lol that's ridiculous.
Hooked up my new equipment. Wireless kit is awesome. Streaming to multiple iPads while watching another show on Tv. I can't wait to test it with NFL Sunday ticket. Gonna be like my own sports bar with 2 iPads and the big screen going.
I have the Whole Home DVR and we can stream stuff too but it's only certain channels. Is this something new where you can get all of your channels on it?
The cinema kit. I didn't realize the nomad was extra or I would have asked for it also. No it's still only certain channels but I had NFL network streaming to one iPad and NBA to another while watching another channel on TV so I'm hoping it works the same way with Sunday ticket and nba league pass. You must already have the cinema connection kit and your boxes hooked up to the net. I had the whole home DVR before but wasn't hooked to the net because I needed the connection kit so I didn't have any streaming before.
Not sure what it's called but one of my four DVRs does have a RJ-45 connection into my home network. That is what connects the coaxial network of the DVRs into my home network. From my PC I can watch any of the shows I have recorded on my DVRs. And from my iPad I can watch and control my DVRs. So yeah, I guess that's what I have already. Didn't cost me anything extra as far as I know. Was always there.
Yeah I didn't have tha functionality before so I needed the cinema connection kit which I didn't get when I signed up 2 years ago. 2 months ago they wanted $125 extra for just the kit so I was glad when I got it for free.
I just called back after taking them up on the $20 credit for 6 months.. ( talked to them last week) I talked to someone today and got free Sunday ticket for this year... no renewal necessary
Just called back in today and got Showtime and Starz for 6 months on top of the discounts I already received. The girl on the phone was really nice. She told me that they can no longer give the sunday ticket out to people. She also told me that there is a deal between DTV and Viacom that's almost done and should be announced any day now so these won't be available much longer.
Dang you got Sunday ticket today? That's all I want lol! Wonder if I should try to call back a THIRD time lol.
i was about to sit down to watch futurama last night then NOOOOOOOOOO! i am calling today they better give me something for sure - sunday ticket for free and continued discounts or something I really dont care to keep directv for much longer I mainly used it for sports but it seems everything is available via streaming now (if league pass creates an app for the ps3 i am done with directv)
Lol yeah, well the thing is, they accidentally charged me for it on my current bill, so i called and told them i was offered it for free along with the $20 discount ( in actuality they only offered me either the $20 monthly discounts OR the Sunday ticket the first time i called) so they checked their notes and saw that i declined the Sunday ticket but in their notes it didn't say i was offered either or. So i basically told them i wanted to take them up on the Sunday ticket offer, so now i have both. I have not i idea if you understand anything i wrote cause i can't really go back and prof read it, damn phone
Yup I got that setup right now as well and it's ready to go. It's a pretty nice feature to watch a couple shows around the house instead of of the TV. Will come in handy with Sunday Ticket so you can have one game on iPad and one on the TV without paying for the extra Sunday Ticket Max to get the online part of it.
Just got off the phone with clear ( my internet service ) Ten minutes later; i now pay $20 a month for my hot spot instead of $55 now, and i have next month free This is fun
