That's why they call it blind pre-sale. Sort of like eating at a shady food truck, you don't know what you going to get when you buy.
Wishlist anyone?? Here's mine. I'm sure they'll have a huge headliner, weezer was incredible last year. The Strokes Father John Misty Depeche Mode Blessed Feathers El Vy Kendrick Lamar (No way, since he did day for night) OutKast Alabama Shakes
I usually wait until the week of FPSF and find passes for close to or a little less than face value when peoples plans change or the lineup is underwhelming.
Just bought some for the first time... Shoulda got the fancy pants deal instead of paying $180 for advanced tix. Hoping for KidCudi been a while since I seen him live but I'm sure he's been in a lineup before this year.
I thought it was one of the best albums of the year. Do you like roots/soul/ rock music? What is good music to you?
Great list. I will say on Outkast tho - I saw them at ACL and it was cool and all but Dre didn't seem super into it and it made me sad and wish I had seen them back in the day. Sadder because I had tickets to their show at what is now Revention back in 2001 and they cancelled. I would add Courtney Barnett, LCD Soundsystem, Drake, Jamie XX, James Blake, and Radiohead. Gotta dream big. It'd be hilarious if FPSF got Radiohead before ACL.
Governors ball in NYC is at the same time. The strokes are playing in NYC as is others so most likely whoever is there isn't going to be at FPSF most likely.
Governor's ball was same weekend last year too. It's a downer trying to predict the schedule, but there were big acts that did both shows. Off the top of my head St. Vincent. I just hope the weather's fine this time, it's rained hard that weekend for 2-3 years in a row now.
