What's all this about gaining respect? Sounds more like a publicity stunt...he's saying 'this is my last album' ... after that it's all internet-only. How is that not just promoting his new album? He's basically telling you this is the last chance you have to get a George Michael album, then making you think he's a great guy in the process (by saying he's only putting songs on the internet from here on out). He basically has nothing to lose by saying that. He probably doesn't even have a record deal after this album. He can easily come back later and say "well it turns out there was a lot of demand for another album from the fans..."
