I'm leaving next Monday for a 10 trip to Peter Island and to visit other BVI islands. My neighbor is a foster for dogs and when she gets home I'm going to talk to her about the pup. My coworker just picked up a 11 month old part pit from BARC and she swore it's not a kill shelter. I'm still gonna talk to my wife and research some rescue groups tonight and have her put it on FB since she chairs the SPC fundraisers. So sad. Such a cute pup!
That would be awesome if you could get this dog out of there Longhornfan. It makes me angry as well!!!!
So I just stopped by and someone did take the pup in. It's one year old, mix of pit/lab. The person wanted to take it home to see how it gets along with his other pup. If it doesn't work out they will be calling me to come pick the pup up. Thanks Kim, great job bruh
Come get her, man. Too big for my home. She deserves a good home. She is sweet and got along with my dog Max and two cats, but as big as she is and as playful, they'll need a lot more room than what I have. moes, I don't doubt you'll eat it, you hungry joto.
You picked her up and brought her back? They called me back 30 minutes ago but I was fixing a toilet lol. I was about to go up there and they called again to say someone else adopted her. Fun day for that pup.
I am not sure if it is a level, lol, but if Swoly really did get her, then big kudos for doing that good deed.
Yup, Swoly did pick her up and tried. I left my phone number with them and he called and emailed me. Much respect Swoly!
This is total ****ing bull**** why do we feel like we have the right to put an animal down for no reason. So angry I seriously wish I actually lived close by to do something.
I wish Swoly could have kept her. She has another home though now but major props to Swoly for giving it a shot. Good looking out Kim! Love this community. No homo
I repped three people in this thread. I think that's the most people I've ever repped in one thread. You guys are awesome.
Just wanted to pass along a 'thank you' to those of you in this thread for taking care of this dog and walking the walk of animal care. This isn't the first time I've seen some of you stick up for a dog in need, and that's great. Let's just say I know from experience that adopting pets and helping those in need is a core part of who PetSmart is, as a company. I could go on but I'll spare you an infomercial. I was excited to hear that a Petsmart team decided to keep this dog under their care. Great to see others out there fighting the good fight for our animal companions. Keep it up.
I hate the vets at that petsmart, granted, I've been there one time like three years ago. Had to get something for "my" yorkie.
