Casspi's defense is pretty below-average (sometimes even much below average) though. Garcia on the other hand, defended Durant extremely well in last year's playoffs.

On the offensive end, I think Garcia is actually a better shooter than Casspi, while Omri is more athletic/fluid and a better cutter.

I think it's a close one, but since Rockets have enough offense as it is, I prefer having a 3+D player like Garcia getting more significant minutes.

Garcia's FG% over the last 6 games is .206. While I agree Garcia is a better defender than Casspi, defense is really not the most important thing for a 2nd unit. I think what Casspi brings on the offensive end can cover that loss on the defensive end. The only thing Garcia does well is shooting and when he doesn't shoot well, he is useless. On the other hand, Casspi is a much more versatile player: he is a good rebounder, passer, shooter, slasher. Even when he has a off night, he still brings a lot to the table.

Nice progress, from bench to featured player.

Lee would be a good player off the bench for the rockets

If they featured DMo in the post he would be a top player.

    Free DMo.

I believe there is a pecking order that put D-mo behind Jones behind Asik and that the TT experiment put a big old Texas size speed bump in front of Jones & D-mo's progress.

Once the Asik settles down and new rotations established, D-mo will probably see much more playing time.

    just my .02.

D-Mo is versatile in the post, but he rebounds like Andrea Bargnani. That is unacceptable for a big man, and it's the primary reason why his minutes will always be limited here.

Well they pretty much have to play him now, or else this is false advertising.

Mine 2, I think they are aiming to trade T-Jones, Asik. Move in a superstar PF and let D-MO play behind him getting some Howard minutes at C?

I'm curious how McHale can justify not playing Motiejunas considering his outside perimeter threat, rebounding, and size could have all been a valuable asset with Howard/Asik getting into foul trouble.

If Jones is a better player than DMo, it's not by much. I have no idea what Jones got all the minutes at PF after repeatedly being torched by Aldridge and on the boards.

It's the second straight postseason now that DMo has not even played a single minute. If I'm him, I'm asking my agent to get me the hell out of Houston ASAP (unless McHale is fired).

I was just stating the reason why dmo didn't play all series! dmo could have played ten min a game. starting jones on lma after game 1 was stupid in my opinion.

McHale justified is on the radio. his reasoning was "I'm not comfortable going there" when asked why dmo wasn't put on lma for a few minutes to give him different looks. why don't you ask McHale yourself rather than ask these stupid questions to other forum members who have a little or no insight for the real reason.

I think it is completely hypocritical of McHale to say he wasn't comfortable playing d- mo yet he plays a rookie in Troy Daniels . Motiejunas was fairly consistent this season especially on the defensive side of the ball. He deserved a shot and a real shot to play this post season. Also no need to be a dick dude....
