I used the free trial back in September and bought the year membership for $79 afterward. It has already paid for itself.

Just cancel your current membership and re-apply. Probably should check the latest comments in the slickdeals thread for confirmation it works before actually cancelling your membership.
Yeah, Prime is pretty great if you buy with any regularity off Amazon. After the trial, 79 bucks is pretty much a no brainer.
