Don't worry, it's the same with the team management. They're always looking for cheaper, better contracts.
I like the FA movement of everyone else from a Rocket perspective. -If the Clippers loose DJ that makes them weaker even with the addition of PP. -Dallas loses Chandler and Ellis, even DJ can't make them that much better than last year. -Portland is "going young". -Even with San Antonio, losing Splitter benefits the Rockets from a depth perspective, unless of course they get LA. -Phoenix has done well on paper but you can't predict chemistry. I'll take our squad from last year with a healthy Pat Bev, a matured Clint Capella, Sam Dekker and the headband of brothers over any of those teams at present.
Tear down the team?? Other than Llull (which is a moot point since he is likely not coming over), all the starters from the last playoff game are still on my proposed roster. You are either a drama queen or you lack reading comprehension skills. The Rockets are NOT going to be able to retain everyone from last season, as much as I loved the Head Band of Brothers. The Rockets lack playmakers at PG, so bringing back Bev is not going to solve that problem. So instead of trading for the youngsters in Boston, maybe trade with Suns for Eric Bledsoe. Use same trade pieces: TJones, Kpap and a future pick PG: Bledsoe, Prigs, Nick SG: Harden, Brew, KJ SF: Ariza, Dekker, Brew/KJ PF: Smoove, D-Mo, Dekker/Harrell C: Dwight, Capela, D-Mo/Harrell
