Yeah he's slightly better than Wood on both ends but they are similar enough to justify that comparison. As i said b4 7'2+ it's a big no no for me and Porzingis is one of my go to examples. Chet and Wemby will have similar career. These guys' BMI is out of human range.
If you are ok with KP I don't see why not just throw the bank at Brook Lopez. Lopez played 78 games for the bucks last season and is actually mature and a good vet while KP only played 65 games. KP made 36M last year and Lopez made 13M last year. If you offer Lopez 25M that will be a crazy offer to him but if you offer 25M to KP he will take it as a massive downgrade.
I would rather have Lopez too, but I'd rather sign Porzingis than trade away #4 for a dude like Siakam. I suppose if it's just about winning a lot more games without selling the farm something like FVV + Porzingis both on 3 year deals isn't going to destroy the entire franchise. Gonna end up looking like the Washington Wizards if none of the young guys becomes a breakout star, but at least the young core is still intact once those two fade away (or KP inevitably gets injured).
