FVV does not deserve to get 40 million per season. I can't see what's special he has.

Disagree. We played horrible last season mainly because KPJ's poor playmaking and Silas shiit rotation.

People blame KPJ when the head coach nor anyone knew the system. So naturally, the PG takes the blame

For a 2yr contract, yes, we are gonna have to overpay. But I’d actually prefer 3yrs at $32 per.

Where do you think he is going to start? KPJ is a good player, he is a good shooting guard but we have Green. KPJ is a offensive player he is a bucket but not like Jalen. The best and only position will be coming off the bench playing with Tari and Amen. We need a starting SF who will be a defensive stopper. There is a reason why players have career games against us this year.

2 year contract will work for both sides. Because of the new CBA rules he can only make no more than 40 million this time. I believe he is 29 right now but at the age of 30 he can make way more money. Now, Toronto have his bird rights and can play him but they do not have the money and they also have to resign Jakob.

    FVV has low offense efficiency...

It's not great to sign him with fat contract.

No thanks. Need a more traditional PG for this team. Someone who looks to pass first.

To be fair, he shot around 9 threes per game. It still should be higher, and it was higher the seasons before.

And I would label him at least almost a pass first PG. he is a very willing passer and perhaps most importantly he excels at giving an offense structure. I am not ecstatic about him and don’t want him longterm, but this FA I see him as our second best option (behind Lopez) as long as he gets a two year deal.

I do wonder what it is statistically that has so many of the advanced metrics spitting out results that say he is a much better player than this traditional numbers and efficiency would have you believe.

I know that these advanced metrics aren’t fool proof and there will always be outliers and or player types that are overvalued by a certain metric, but I just don’t get it with him.

I guess I wouldn’t mind him on a 2 year max deal to bridge the gap, but I’m not sure how much I believe in him as any kind of real difference maker.

I’d take FVV because that guarantees KPJ wouldn’t start. That’s worth the money alone.
