We don't need a super star PG, just one that is young, smart, good playmaker, can hit the outside shot consistently. I will take a super start PF. Both will Release the Tiger.
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYING!!! You just named 3 top teams that have what you're saying are 'questionable' backup PGs...What I'm saying is that I'd take those 'questionables' over our current backups (Jackson/Wilks). I think if we had Kenny Anderson, Charlie Ward, Travis Best, or Marquis Daniels - in certain matchups, we start them at PG and move steve to the 2, and present mismatches...while bringing cat's energy off the bench. Obviously, they are not bona-fide starters...but, there are many backup PGS in the league that could start for the rockets... Did anyone catch Daniels last night starting for the Mavs...looks pretty talented.
