I wouldn't mind Brook Lopez in the frontcourt rotation, obviously behind Sengun/Bari. I see him taking more minutes from Bari than from Sengun. Adams also should be getting minutes. Landale would be more than expendable after this. This would free up minutes for Amen/Tari.
Why would you want Lopez over Jock Landale who is cheaper and younger as the THIRD center on the rotation? Lopez is like 35 he is too slow to play any other position besides center now.
Because Lopez is a better 3-point shooter and defender. Would be a rental for one year anyway. Landale will be gone.
This gai welshed on a verbal agreement at the last minute and made the rockets overpay brooks when there wasn't enough time to pivot before deadline. Bucks would have to eat cap space with dookie picks if he wants to land here. If Rox FO really wanted a stiff like Lopez, they're prob better off drafting one...
That's why I thought it would be charming to trade Brooks for him. Gets the money off the books after this year.
Since Adams is not likely to be in great shape and he might not ever return to form, I would of course welcome him, but the price would be too high. I am also not sure how I feel about him given the whole fiasco, but we don't know what was said, promised and it was more our FO that made this whole thing a mess by just giving away players without a clear commitment.
