Fair. We’ve gone well beyond normal depth this year with oline injuries. They are implementing a new system and haven’t been able to establish continuity. I agree depth is needed but that isn’t found at the top of the FA market or draft. I don’t think Pearce is a zone back either so fully support drafting a RB in round 3 or 4 (no 1st round worthy backs this year) and resigning Singletary.

the advocacy for receivers is because there are so many good ones in the draft this year.

You think a 3rd or 4th round pick is better than Pierce? I'm so tired of mediocre running backs. It's been so many years since we actually had a threat running the ball.

If we want top end RB talent go get Barkley. If he can stay healthy he is perfect for this offense. I don’t think there is a Bijan in this draft.

I’d like a RB who can pick up the blitz cuz the Broncos were running unblocked when they blitzed.

this isn’t a strong RB draft. Pearce himself was a 4th rd pick…I do think we can find a better fit than him in that range. Or you can try to sign Barkley and hope he stays healthy.

Honestly Zeke would have been a good get. Pair him with a Singletary type. But he is one of the best at pass blocking, can catch balls, and would actually convert 3rd and 1’s

    Own
    O
    Dalton Schultz - TE1
    Josh Jones - Swing OT
    Noah Brown - WR depth
    D
    Jonathan Greenard - Starting DE
    Sheldon Rankins - Starting DT
    Blake Cashman - Starting SAM

    Outside FA
    O - None

    D
    Azeez Al-Shaair - Starting Mike
    AJ Epenesa - DE depth
    Jaylon Johnson - Starting CB

    * draft would be offense/ST heavy (other than I want to find a way to get Sweat and Byron Murphy).

The reason why I wouldn't mind Caserio picking Benson late in the 1st. Probably.ake the most immediate impact on the team.

Spotrac has the Texans with an estimated 75m in cap room with an overall cap of 240.5M

That can get you Evans and Allen with room to spare

Has any team ever had that type of cap space coming off a winning record? Off-season should be fun this year

I just wonder how much of that scratch gets eaten up by Greenard, Rankins, Schultz and the rest of our own.

A good offensive lineman, a better cornerback, another defensive stud, and a better running back please.

He would be a solid addition. Why do you say that out of curiosity?

I agree they shouldn’t sign him, because of age. We have a solid wide receiver core and this is huge draft for WR’s. If we have the money after signing our own FA’s like Cashman, Schultz, etc. I hope they go for a stud DT, cornerback, or zone blocking type rb.

Understandable. I'd like Josh Allen. Only rbs out there are going to be Saquan (too injury prone) and Jacobs (wants too much money). Unfortunately this is a weak rb draft

I didn't know he was going to ask for that much. I agree then. Wouldn't pay him.
