I keep seeing don’t overpay and I get it. Another perspective though. His franchise tag was 10.1 million. We are paying Robert Woods almost that much. And Barkley can lineup all over the field and I’m going to stick my neck out and say he will have much more of an impact than Woods.

I think Demeco would quit if this happens as your only improvment to the front 7 is a rookie ILB. After the Ravens game, Demeco specifally stated resources will be spent upgrading the front 7. Id say go get Frankie Luvu
If you include Howard at CB and CB as a front 7 assist, I don't think it would be quit worthy. Bringing back Greenard, Rankins and Cashman at least gives us familiarity and a base on which to add rather than just replace. With this group back, we can take advantage of the rookie class for depth. I would actually like to see an upgrade at DT to Madabuike and DE from Greenard to Danna (total about $37M). Both are younger and a moderate increase over bringing back Rankins ($10M) and Greenard ($ 13.4M) who are est to total about $23.4M. They join Collins and WAJ with only Collins in doubt for 25.
I doubt this team will be rerolling the same DL front next season when DeMeco specifically mentioned improving that front and firing the DL coach.
