As long as Joe doesnt punch another chick or point a gun at one we should be fine he's a + RB. Fingers crossed!
I think the gun incident was overblown. I think many people would have done the same thing in that situation. People in Cincy like him, for what it's worth.
cause they have to pay Chase/Higgins and need to lock in a value rb for the next couple seasons. I think they are gonna split carries between Brown and Moss. At least that’s my hunch.
So far I think texans upgraded rb, lb and potentially punter They kept their kicker and t.e which is prob a good thing bc they would not have found someone better Pass rush and secondary left
You are not supposed to point guns at people Im not following how that was overblown? Its great that he's been able to stay out of trouble after that incident, but he also violently attacked a woman in college that led to her being hospitalized. Part of 2nd chances require and admission of guilt and responsibility. Im here for redemption stories and hopefully he can be a good representation of a Houston Texan while here - his skills can definitely help this team.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I believe Moss is younger, more upside. Joe Mixon has big games but clearly they felt they could upgrade. However for us, he was really only one of maybe two options the team was left with at this stage of FA. Would have preferred Ekler but it is what it is at this point. I don’t think we got worse than what we had with Singletary. Better? Only time will tell.
Texans have been sticking to their market and price point for better or worse as Caserio isn’t going to overspend. They were after Barkley, but didn’t want to match the Eagles bid and switched their focus to Mixon as @CotyDavis_24 reported. They went after Patrick Queen and offered him 10 Million per year from people familiar with those negotiations. Queen wants higher and the Texans went to Al-Shaair Azeez.
Well since we are not getting the guys we really wanted, I guess we stick with our plans and save money.
