#3 is the most realistic option........although id prefer Milsape and Dwight over j.Smith and Dwight..... Lin is staying for atleast another year but if you can get CP3 then Smith may make more sense , imo. My prediction: Lin Harden Parson Milsap Howard Or CP3 Harden Parsons J.Smith Asik Lets not forget Bynum......he may still be serviceable and a still if you can sign him to a reasonable contract.
Yeah, that's not true. Miami gave Toronto back its own lottery-protected pick to be delivered between 2010 and 2015, which would have turned into a 2nd if the Raptors didn't make the playoffs in those years. If Miami hadn't traded the pick back to Toronto, they wouldn't have gotten it. [rquoter]The deal also calls for Toronto to get the league's maximum allowed in cash considerations ($3 million) and for the Heat to land a conditional first-round pick to come sometime between 2010 and 2015. It's lottery-protected, essentially meaning the first time the Raptors make the playoffs after this season, their first-rounder goes to Miami. If Miami does not get that first-round pick in 2010, it will get an additional second-round pick that year. The Heat also get a $4.2 million trade exception, which would allow Miami to make a future trade even if the salaries involved don't match. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3905146 [/rquoter] Conincidentally, had Toronto not been able to get their pick back, it would have been virtually impossible for them to trade their guaranteed lottery pick to the Rockets for Kyle Lowry in 2012, or the conditions necessary would have made it an extremely unattractive asset. No pick, no James Harden. So in some small way, Chris Bosh spurning the Rockets in free agency helped deliver Harden and restore hope back to Houston. Butterfly effect...
Two factors are in play with CP3: 1. He's a known coach killer. There is no one better than Paul in the league at being a coach on the floor, but it's also pretty hard to dispute that he's been at odds with all 3 of his professional coaches. This isn't a bad thing, heck, Magic Johnson had his issues with Paul Westhead after winning a chip. Still, it might be difficult for the Clippers to hire someone that Chris respects, as well as... 2. The Clippers are incredibly cheap. The entire reason they got Vinny Del Negro was because he already being paid by the Chicago Bulls and was willing to work cheap, since they were still paying Mike Dunleavy after he was fired. Are they willing to go out and get a big time coach, on top of the fact that they'll be carrying a sizeable payroll near the luxury tax next year? For any other organization, I'd say there's no question, but this is Donald "Beautiful Black Bodies" Tokowitz. As for Dwight, I can't really see him wanting to play with Chris Paul at all anyway. He's pretty much mini-Kobe in terms of berating his teammates, to the point where DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin flat out don't like playing with him. Honestly, Harden seems like an awesome fit personality wise with Dwight; he's low key enough to let Dwight take the spotlight, and less of a hothead, vocal leader in the lockerroom.
Nobody's going to take on Lin unless we agree to take salary back. Nobody wants a guy who doesn't show up for the playoffs.
I think he already answered you by implying that no athlete is going to state this outright. So how do you expect him to find your incredibly particular request? Here's a start: http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2013/...-athletes-migrating-to-tax-friendlier-states/
