I hope they get rid of Tate, he doesn't deserve it but if you can't rid yourself of your 12th guy I am not confident in your moves.

The projected rotation right now only has 3 non first round draft picks in it:

    Brooks
    Fred
    Adams

    The young guys:

    Sengun
    Jalen
    Jabari
    Tari
    Amen
    Cam
    Reed

What I'm getting at is that the only way a consolidation trade frees up playing time is if you include 2 or more of these players listed.

Brooks is the obvious choice to get moved. If we could somehow move him without bringing in another rotation player that would actually be my preferred outcome.

But if we are going to consolidate to free up minutes and maybe bring in a higher caliber player, which 2+ guys are you willing to part with? Or do you think we realistically would part with?

i think we should consolidate Brooks and Jalen into a good player and future assets.

That would be my hope, and the smart thing to do.

Did you watch whole games or snippets of his play - like I did?

I have watched him play (clips obvi). When he arrived from Phoenix, he was putting in work. Last year he was 11th in minutes played and it looked like he was impacting when they traded for Siakam (discouraged?). Don't know Pacer politics, but he was fighting it out with Jarace Walker, Isaiah Jackson, & Obi Toppin for minutes and I think he could see the writing on the wall

Finding a stretch big man is difficult because everyone wants them. I think he has shown he can do that and I think Ime can bring him to that level.

You talked about his VORP. He was in top 100 in the NBA last year (tied for 99 ;) ). Since there are 30 teams with 5 starters each, wouldn't that mean he is a starting level player?? (unless my math is off - could be because I stopped after trig & calc). His VORP was higher than Jalen, Bari, Cam, etc. for last year. He was actually 6th for Pacers and got the 11th most minutes.

A lot of people derided Kyle Anderson as too slow and ineffective (I think his nickname was Slow Motion), but he has been a quality producer in San Antonio and Minny,

We don't agree on much (other than Lakers suck), but I think there are people like me who see something in Jalen. Moreover, the team could even structure the contract as a 2 year deal with team options on Years 3 & 4.

Anyway.... I think Jalen at the MLE would be a nice addition,,,, 10 minutes to FA!

I wonder if the front office is considering Klay. I mean he'd have to eat some humble pie and realize he's not going to get the bag he thinks he should get.

I’ve just seen the warriors waived Chris Paul. Where do you guys think he ends up? LA? Back to phoenix?

Jalen + Brooks for LaVine and 2 (3?) unprotected 1sts

Doesn't make much sense for us and makes NO sense at all for Chicago, but..... those 1sts.... yum.

Orlando makes a LOT of sense as well (esp. if they miss out on PG and / or Klay). as do Lakers

What makes you say this? Tweets? Media heads? Insider sources? Just a random thought? A hunch?

It was speculated when Hawks were trying to figure out who to move between Trae & Murray.... I thought it was decided after Pellies trade.

Maybe the Hawks want to hit reset

Honestly that's not a bad looking roster for the Rockets, would love to add someone else via trade or free agency, but basically new to the team are 3 players, Reed Sheppard, AJ Griffin, & Steven Adams, I just wonder what the rotation would look like, how many minutes each player gets, who starts, etc....
