Never believe him again, and he called Morey a liar....

Dude told everyone he is a hooper but left 2-3 teams now.....now that is a selfish hooper.....

If he were such a hooper, he would hoop for the minimum the way Russell Westbrook does now.....

Why would a guy who is still a top 30 NBA player take league minimum? To prove to daywalker02 on clutchfans he’s a “hooper”?

Westbrook hoops for the minimum because he’s a minimum level player. There wasn’t more money out there for him or he would have taken it.

Lol well he is a borderline max player who cannot dictate his destination like he used to either.... so carry on, Stan.

Liked his recent 8 point and 9 point scoring games?

Stan? Use your words man. Don’t name call because your point was stupid and you got called on it.

Judging guys off their last two games alone? Weird…

Called on what exactly lol you are too funny

He is lucky those Clips and Lakers teams exist....

Dude lost the PR war months ago.....

Morey as well but Morey is not reliant on waning bball skills to make his money.

“if he was such a hooper he would play for the minimum like Westbrook”

That is DD defending KPJ level stupidity.

Im not stopping your own personal vitriol - I get it. We never broke through with James. Hyper critical games where he didnt show up. A party animal. He will still go down as one of the GOATS and probably the best offensive player of this generation.

Froze out D12 or D12 thought he was Hakeem? CP3's hamstring got CP3 booted. Westbrook was a terrible move, but it was James who lead that charge. Westbrook showed up here thinking it was his team. Milkhair? The "clap clap play harder" coach? Cmon man.

We're just spitballing and playing what if anyway. While I dont harbor the same disdain for FVV as you do James, I can admit that Im left wanting more from our highest paid player on too many nights and who himself freezes out the development of team concepts and young players in order to spam the only play he can seem to give us an advantage with Sengun PNR action, but it seems ALL our players do well with Sengun PNR action. We're stuck with the oompa loompa I know we are I guess I just needed to vent. Appreciate the differing opinion delivered within some civility.

i got prob with the man getting his fair market value...

he coulda NOT opted into his contract with Morey...

gone and got what he could for the year and then be a free agent to do whatever he wanted...

    but no...

this self absorbed pos had to opt in - just to demand a trade.

whatever happened between him and his enabler Morey - thats their biz - i aint peelin that onion... lol!
i can say he looked like a total azz imo...

    but u do u, James...

3rd time its turned adversarial and nasty trade demands...

3rd time in how many years?

i mean at what point do u just realize who the sh*t head is? lol

    i appreciate the exchage!

i'm not saying FVV is all that... but i think he's a step in the right direction... and really what are we tied 2 years (while we're leveraging against rookie scale contracts)...
We shoulda had a FVV type in here for the last few years... some solid vet leadership - not kpj and CWood types...
This place was dysfunctional af during the Harden/Morey era...
we shoulda been doing a cultural overhaul during our tank...
better late than never i guess... lol

Nah man because Westbrook is sacrificing his game, no matter how bad you see him, he could still start on some mediocre teams....or bad teams.

If you don't believe it, you can certainly ask around bad teams.

He wanted to be in LA and with his friends, then yeah, sacrifice away.

Westbrook has never slapped a man or woman in public, or it has not been reported to me yet that he is KPJ discussion material.

There's still westbrick fans left? Yikes

100% wrong. Sacrificing, what a full load of bs. starting on bad mediocre teams and they would still lose. aka he's a minimum level player. We've already seen that. In no way does that justify his worth to be better. empty stats and losing just further proves you don't impact winning

Thats fair. So many what if's. How does the path change if we bring in Ty Lue as coach? Morey is celebrated around here, but most of the James Harden teams were wasted by never fielding better support players particularly a 2nd star that could take the load off. Once Paul shows up the team wins 65 games - coincidence? Why not that approach in years 2-3 and beyond? Too little too late.

James needed elite 3&D guys around him. Never got them not in Brooklyn or Philly. Now that he's paired up with Kawhi and PG13 they are 30-15 two games out of first place while they all share the minutes per game load and James takes only 11 shots per game.

Yes I agree allowing this franchise to play Lord of the Flies during the tank years was a huge disservice for everyone.

    I don’t believe it.

How would one go about “asking around bad teams”? Got some emails or numbers I can contact?

I don't get the hate for WB here dude played his heart out in Houston as a small ball Center, yeah he is fundamentally flawed but you cannot fault his desire to perform.

There is a difference between not able to perform to a shooting level and sabotaging the game like KPJ did.

So Harden gets another pass because he is a better bball player but not as hard working as WB.

Time to credit the more diligent player as well.

A lot of folks like winning players who impact winning. Not dumb players who play dumb. You don't get it? It's not that difficult

credit? gtfoh. he was one of the main reasons the rockets were dismantled

and as a side note... we could peel the onion on all the above issues - and still have a bushel to peel...

but like Milkhair... or as i referred to him McFail... he sucked... ida had no prob moving on from him (for an option better than JBB)...
Really he coulda been beneficial with the right assistants... be the revered hard nose vet figurehead, clap clap... work with the bigs... it coulda worked...

but i tell ya... benching Harden in the playoffs mid meltdown... that was ballsy! and with the benefit of hindsight, we know it was the right call - what a memorable game! I respected coach for that move...

That move shouldnt have cost him his job.

Imo that was it tween him and James... he lost the locker room (him or James)... we limped into the next season... Milkhair got the ax...

that wasnt right. that was dysfunctional.

J Smoove going nuclear and Dwight actually imposing his will outside of 'post moves' was the biggest reason we won that game and it was ballsy by McNair. Who closed the door in game 7? Ultimately we get waxed by the Warriors where James goes 28/7/5 in the series while nobody else bothered to show up and it lays at the feet of James somehow.

    It is what it is.

    edit: McHale not McNair

Man, we could have had Harden out there instead of Fool's Gold FVV
