He is better than Cp3 cuz he doesn't choke when it matters the most.

CP3 doesn't joke. He just gets injured.

I do not think it is VV or Brooks, it is how they are used by Udoka.......

Udoka executed very well....no doubt, with players that are not clear star players.

Maybe he is surprised himself with how well it is going.

He played in the finals with a torn ligament in his wrist. And he got Covid and had to miss games.

He has a quad injury he was playing through vs the Mavs.

But does it really matter what he did the last two years? He's old... not the same player.

Get this through your head, we brought him in as a Championship VET. He's here to develop not put up all star numbers. Please simmer down, we are winning and that's what i'll take any day!

This team is largely the same as it was last year aside from VV, Brooks and Udoka. I liked the Udoka hire. I felt VV and Brooks were overpays. So far, they’ve been worth every penny!

Paying a guy 40 million to be a "vet" lolol. It's hilarious the amount of mental gymnastics some of you go through to justify Fred.

Hes not worth his contract. Period

Again, I do not think it is the players. Ime would do well on the Thunder, he would do well with the Magic......he would do well with even Detroit, maybe not with Detroit, but better than Monty who does a decent job.

I am usually trying to find weakness but there is not much weakness here......it is scary....to be honest.

He is not but the NBA makes it easy to buy out players.

He got paid 40M to make up the fact that his contract is unguaranteed after next year. That alone makes his contract worth it as you can dump him without worry.

Regardless Fred so far is worth his contract it's clear on the court what he is worth.

He's a streaky shooter but he has a calm demeanor and always seems to steady the ship. He's the perfect replacement for the KPJ nightmare PG experiment. Udoka is getting a lot of credit (as he should) but he wouldn't be able to do this without players like FVV and Brooks. They both got paid because this team was so bad (and desperate) and needed vets to help all these draft picks develop. We're starting to see it pay off, and if it ends with one of Jalen or Alpi as a star then I think it was worth the extra money.
