Unlucky for Fred, but it was bound to happen with all those heavy minutes he saw. Part of it is Udokas fault its not like we got a winning record out of it. Shouldve given Amen more minutes.

Worst part is I can see him starting with Holiday instead of Amen.. please dont be so stubborn Ime

 

In fairness, Amen was in the rotation from day 1. Getting like 20 mpg, until he turned his ankle in 3rd Q of game 4.

And that was his 2nd ankle sprain since the draft, so they went slowly bringing him back.

Coaching staff said his was impressive in camp, too. “He’s real.”

I know, but I think he should be given more minutes especielly in games where FVV is struggling. I just feel Ime is too stubborn with how he treats his vets vs his youngins

I mean, Sengun is his focus, and 2nd year Jabari and Tari are fixtures.

Nope I mean what I said. Whenever vets call for a challenge he challanges it even if it is not gonna overturn the call. He just has a thing for the vets and its pretty obvious. They almost never get benched for playing poorly etc vs the young guys. Also Sengun playing well for the most time has made him the 1st focus and we dont know if Brook Lopez was suppose to take his spot or play along side him so there is that too.

Obviously terrible for our playoff chances but great for the development of our young players for the next couple weeks.

i'm actually excited to see them play.. especially if Tari can come back during this span. no need to press for a replacement trade, if we suck then our chances of getting a top 4 pick in this draft are actually really decent.

 

Top 5-10 as well. I am so glad that this draft is generationally bad.

Yep. I have a bet riding on the over, so I'm gripping a little over this. About the only thing worse would be if they lost Sengun. Missing FVV is going to hurt!

The time to acquire a Brogdon-like combo guard that could mitigate damage from a Fred injury (which was inevitable btw), was before Fred got injured. We all knew this was a weakness of the roster and we havent done anything about it. Now we’re in a very bad situation.

 

I might stop watching if we start Holiday

 

That's actually an interesting matchup, Amen's defense is going to be very important to the outcome of the game. He might be able to disrupt Hali more than most players.
