Tari’s absence opened up minutes for Cam and he shined. Fred’s absence will open up even more minutes for Amen and add pressure. Good test for the rookie.

Question is, do you start Amen? Or Holiday for the shooting? Our shooting has already been so poor and that crowds the paint & passing lanes for Şengün. Can Amen make up for it with movement?

Jalen Green and Amen can share the point guard duties. Green has been especially efficient at getting the ball across half court, and Amen has been particularly good at setting up his teammates.

With Eason expected back very soon, Amen and Green can handle the point guard duties. Cam Whitmore, Tari Eason, and Tate can help with the SF and SG duties. Also Green would be getting minutes at shooting guard in certain lineups.

Playing a Heavy, Slow Guard Heavy Minutes instead of playing Amen Thompson in the beginning of the season led to this injury.

I was curious why Fred VanVleet constantly not pushing and not running on fast breaks.
The workload and not getting easy Points for the team and Jalen Green not getting easy Points from Fred VanVleet passes on Fast Breaks.

Finally can see Amen Thompson and Jalen Green.

Amen Thompson plays PG, Jalen Green plays SG and Cuts to the Basket, Amen will easily pass the ball to him. Amen Size can see over the defender and Fast Pass to Jalen, Cam, Alperen.

Fast Break Opportunities will be a Huge Upgrade over Fred VanVleet. Amen Thompson too Athletic on Fast Break with Jalen Green and Cam Whitmore.

Yeah, no hopes of playin without Fred. I'm not even sure if we can get to 35 wins without him. Hope he recovers soon.

 

If Fred is out for a while he may not be the starting pg by the time he comes back.

 

If you want to have a chance at the play-in give up a first and match salary for Brogdan. I'm an Amen believer but we still need another shooter if they have any prayer of making the play-in.
