In defense of the local guys they at least see what's going on. Also they don't insult the guys' character just some of their on the court moves. Also I don't really think they overly bash The Rockets. I mean after all it's not like they have a lot to work with.
Bob Kemp is a joke. Thats the same guy on draft night who said Griffin,Francis, and Mobley would all be fighting in practice about who will get the most shots and as you can see the 3 love one another.
I am <b>not</b> a Steve Francis fan. He plays for a division rival, and I thought what he did to Vancouver wasn't cool (but that's another discussion that's been done to death, so I won't say anything). <b>HOWEVER</b>, he isn't a problem for you guys. Far from it. He's one of the best young players in the game. Is he a little uncontrollable? Of course, he's young. Who wasn't at that age in the NBA? Kemp is just another talk show host that likes to hear himself talk. I'm not a fan of him, but I can see how simple minded people would be. Now Papa Joe Chevalier, ugh, that man is the most annoying person in teh history of sports talk radio. I would rather listen to an audio replay of Super Bowl XXIV in which my beloved Broncos didn't, um, exactly play up to par than listen to that pompous jack@$$. Ugh. Can't stand him. Ugh Ugh Ugh.
Uh...I like Kemp, are you calling me simple minded? Kemp at least makes his callers prove their points with facts, he challenges callers and wants them to back up their opinions, and when a caller does back up their opinion, Kemp is good with the caller, if a moron calls up with an opinion without facts, he lets him hear it. If anything, he makes his callers think before they call, how's that simple minded?
I guess I should have phrased that differently. Didn't mean it to come across like it did. In my opinion, whenever I listen to Kemp, he basically doesn't allow anyone that disagrees with him to get much of an argument off. He just writes them off without considering the other point of view. He's like a Limbaugh, or Rome type of host. Basically if you don't agree with him, you don't exist.
So since this guy doesn't "know" Steve Francis, he's not allowed to talk about his attitude? Hmmm.....does anyone on this board know Scottie Pippen? Does anyone on this board know Hakeem Olajuwon? You're all pretty quick to make judgements about those guys' character, even though you don't know them.
They don't mean "know" to the literal extent. We do know how those you named behave on the court and things like that because we play close attention to their games and in a way can see how they are. We see when they get techs, how they react to bad calls, how they react to losing and winning. So yeah we do "know" them. On kemp - I agree with Nuggets4 in that kemp doesn't let anyone who disagrees with him get thier point across. He usually just hangs up on them, plays the gallery and calls them an idiot.
Aw, Bob Kemp is right. Francis is a headcase and a headache for the Rockets. We need to trade him, quick before we lose that losing touch. Francis absolutely sucks, considering our 1-17 mark without him.
