Well right now we did. Swift is still a dolt and Rudy Gay is still a rookie. But over time, Rudy should pan out and become a very good player. He's already shown a lot more than I expected. Swift is just worthless. The guy just doesn't get it nor will he ever "get it." But yes as of now, we're way ahead on this trade. Battier has been everything that he was hyped up to be and more. Time will tell if we are on the right side of the trade in the long run
Jerry West is tanking this season for Oden. He wants a Gay+Oden combo. Risky strategy but its the best strategy for them. They were going nowhere anyway.
Pau makes a huge impact on a team. He was/is their best player. Taking the best player out of a team, and ur going to have huge losses unless ur personnel is badass like Dallas or Miami.
Unless they are giving the "czar" a chance to get out of the situation, you think they would keep him around since he's not exactly firing up the team now...
