I saw him at the Houston Galleria Cheesecake Factory back in Spring of 2007. I think he was here for some big race?

I called in for Sex, Jail, Blood or Fame on the Rod Ryan show the following Monday morning on my way to school. I was put on hold for forever but it seemed like I was supposed to eventually be on the air. I walked into my first class late because of it, still with my phone on. Teacher made me turn it off after about 5 minutes.

    cool story sis

I've only seen two of his interviews but he comes across that way. One was after he finished that Disney kid's show. Duriing the interview he started to sound like he was too good for an indie movie he was involved in and was promoting. Katie Couric and co. tried to steer him from saying anything regrettable since he was just a kid.

The other interview he said he was wary of being involved in a Keanu Reeves movie. That one being Constantine. He did say he had newfound respect for Reeves after working with him but it sounded like he goes around thinking he's better than most.

Will Smith = apex? does not compute

I'll give you The Legend of Bagger Vance but besides he plays the same roles (like Vince Vaughn but not as bad).

Never had a problem with Muniz, but never really watched a minute of any of his shows (or movies?).

Shia on the other hand, his acting is mediocre at best and I fail to see any semblance of "good' in all of his movies. In fact the Transformer movies raped the good name of the autobots and megatron. Indiana Jones 4 never existed.

What is wrong with their generation? I wish Lindsay Lohan was still hot and making movies.

i really doubt that's going to bring in 100 million + in box office sales.

Sometimes you hear people say they want to go see I, Robot or Hancock, but you also hear plenty of people say they want to go see "the new Will Smith movie"...that's when you know the actor himself attracts a large number of people. You put Smith in any "cool" kind of movie and it's an automatic 100 mill, at least. Even WWW made that and it was horrible.

The movies where he plays a different character with a different script is where he doesnt make as much money...people don't want to see the serious will smith or the sad will smith. He doesn't attract them based on his acting versatility, but on his ability to play certain role.

Jesus, did you even read the post you quoted?

It's saying that Will Smith is one of the actors people specifically go to see, regardless of the film. This is true. In fact, he is probably the most bankable star in hollywood. Whether you like his acting or not is irrelevant.
