I don't understand why he would say this. He's makes fun of Frankie but seems like he knocks himself more then anything. I mean if you can say that you can be replaced easily seems to really says a lot of you, and the movies you do...... Malcolm in the Middle was better then Even Stevens though.
He's trying to come off humble. He's throwing the producers the credit and acting like he's lucky to even be an actor. It's really passive aggressive. I see this **** all the time in the office and at church sometimes.
But I mean really he doesn't have any movies under his belt to be spurting off like that anyways. Transformer's movies Indiana Jones Disturbia Eagel Eye His work is almost Shakespeare.
Frankie probably made most of his money before he was old enough to spend it. We'll see how long it lasts now that he's in the drivers seat.
Speaking of driver's seat, check this out : Two sports cars once belonging to "Malcolm in the Middle" star, Frankie Muniz, a 2004 GTO and a 2004 Volkswagen Golf R-32, are on the block at eBay. We'd not known the kid's given name — at least the one on the registration — is the infantalized "Frankie," not Frank, considering he's at that awkward twilight of Hollywood youth. (Hey, Rick Schroeder, how's that "adult" **** working out for ya?) We suppose he's upgrading to cars befitting his advanced age, just as Joey Lawrence (a very special "Blossom") upgraded to a Ferrari 360 Modena after his childhood career flamed out. If you ask us how we know that, we'll have to kill you. http://jalopnik.com/120848/frankie-muniz-sells-some-cars
but it's true. People didn't see Transformers or Indiana Jones to watch LeBeouf act in it. It's like this for most actors unless you are at the apex like Will Smith, Hanks, Dicaprio etc.
The day I go watch a Shia LeBeouf movie for the acting is the day I deserve to be punched squarely in the left testicle.
Sounds more like he's talking up the movies themselves than knocking hiw own acting. Basically saying the movie script/stories were so good they made the movie, not the actors. Malcolm in the middle was a different kind of show and for a different age group...hard to really say one is better. I can see why he'd think Muniz was looking down on him...Muniz comes off as the kind of guy who'll talk **** as he's walking away, whether he's on top of the world or not. And didn't he make an appearance on Criminal Minds last season? Technically he wasn't retired.
