Not true at all. I was upset with the team last offseason for not making changes.

Vogel would be incredible, he's one of the few coaches in the league that is actually worth something.

I think Vogel would be a good hire for the Rockets. He'll have a new HC job quickly, whether it's with Houston or elsewhere.

Great news, solid coach to add to the list of potential candidates, hoping his interview gets pushed ahead of Vinny Del Negro's.

    JVG
    Vogel
    Messina

Who else belongs in the tier one coaches that are available?

Ime Udoka intrigues me as well. Not sure if he's "Tier One", but he intrigues me.

If we get Vogel our defence will improve a lot. Our offence has no reason to regress either.
Jvg hasnt coached for too many years. Vogel doesnt have this question mark.
He also doesnt have problems with analytics like Hollins or problems with lockeroom like Jackson and Hornacek.

Vogel doesn't seem like an instant surefire hire to me. Lot to like there but no guarantee that he is a "great" coach. I would definitely interview him, but like I said, I'd want to know who his assistants would be.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kings give him an offer right away with their history of terrible coaches. Rockets better move fast.
