Dvd comes out next Tuesday...who's buying? http://www.amazon.com/Widescreen-Two-Disc-Special-Gerard-Butler/dp/B00005JPLW
I've got HD and Blu-Ray (360 player and PS3) but I'll probably go with the HD version. Save some wear and tear on the 3's laser.
same here (cept i have i dont have a ps3 but a blu-ray player) and i'll rent the HD version just to see it i didnt care for the movie all that much but the visuals were nice. i prefer the loading on the hd-dvds over the blu-rays on a side note i am picking up the bourne identity on hd dvd today!
Fry's had the Blu-Ray for $24.99, but only a limited quantity...I went to BB and they price matched it...I'll be watching it tonight or tomorrow...WooHoo!!
Yes! If you think that Broadcast HDTV is amazing, you will laugh at it once you watch a HD DVD or a BluRay... I have a 30' CRT HDTV and a 42' RP LCD. My HD DVD player looks amazing on both(Alot better on CRT!). I saw a 46' Sony Bravia 1080p(same HD DVD player I have as well) in action and to be honest the picture quality wasn't that much of a jump from 1080i. People tell me that the differences between 1080i and 1080p are better viewed on bigger screens than 30'-40'. It's been crazy lately... I have binders and binders full of DVDR's of movies and ever since I got my HD DVD player I simply burn the movies (have had 300 for like a few weeks now) and put them in my binder. I haven't seen any movie that I have burned in like 5 months... I LOVE HD!
I just saw this movie on the plane and it was really craptacular. The only redeeming quality was the the hot queen. Whats up with the english accents. They are greeks. They should all sound like Vspan.
300 was a testosterone filled man boobie film. Wife loved it Limb tearing and decapitations were pretty cool
I also didn't like the movie, the way they filmed it was pretty nice, but the story was terrible, and i wasn't to fond of the acting either.
