Uhh.... Dwight had SEASONS with Ewing in Orlando. Ewing worked for Yao because Yao is a HISTORICAL worker in the gym. Dwight has never shown to have that drive (though we'd all love to see that change!!).

Big f**king load of horses**t from you, and I'm really surprised because you're better than that. As if I need to explain this to you, but the word "scam" connotatively implies, as everyone knows, that the perpetrator is trying to pull a fast one on his intended "victims." Not only is that an insult to Hakeem, as you are implying he's a scam artist, but it's also not true; there is no fast one being pulled; he is showing them legitimate post moves, a means for how and when to use them, and the "science" behind those so the players, who have probably never heard of basketball being equated to science, gain a different perspective- which people do pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for in all walks of life (ask consultants how much they are paid for their opinions).

Very disappointing. Negative rep to the nth degree.

Boy, you are really a stupid individual if you equate consultations with scams. Do you know how much money the consultants I've worked with have made for their client companies? Most recent one turned an $11 million loss into a $450,000 gain. So, please, stop posting stupid s**t that you know nothing about.

    Also, don't forget Carmello.

Dream dominated 3 Hall of Famers at the peaks of their careers (David Robinson, Partick Ewing, & Shaq) with his fantastic footwork and post up moves.

Dwight can only change his game ... if he wants to change. There wasn't any pressure to change his game in Orlando or the Lakers. Rather, he would just blame people around him.

Being a prodigy doesn't mean you are a master at every facet of the game. Michael Jordan was a prodigy out of college, horrible defense and shooting. But there is this thing called working on your weaknesses. Lebron went to Hakeem and he learned a variety of post moves allowing him to become a much more efficient player. And you have to be smoking something if you don't think Lebron operates in the post. If you've paid any attention at all to basketball reports, Lebron's activity inside the paint has been substantially more than in his Cleveland days.

Lulz. You can use the word "scam" any way you want on.. get this... TWITTER. Same goes for a message board. I'll stick by scam and also defend scams such as Hakeem's. You need to take one of them chill pills the kids are always talking about Captain Serious. I feel like you and Kobe would be best friends.

And yeah, I'm familiar with companies like Deloitte... Hakeem isn't running Deloitte, he's running a get-rich-quick scheme. You know, the other kind of business consulting (also legal) - Yeah, come train with me for 5 days and you too can learn incredible, uncanny, superhuman footwork for only 5 small payments of $50,000. Olajuwon Camp - where lowwwww price livvveeeeesssss. I'm not a "stupid individual" bro, I just have my eyes open wide enough to see what's out there.

I'm all for what Hakeem is doing. He genuinely thinks he is providing a value and he definitely is. I'm obviously being somewhat sarcastic. But I assure you the money is a driving force and I can also assure you these players are getting very little from these workouts with the exception of Kobe and Lebron.

Selling 100,000 Katrina wrist bands for $1 years after the disaster and donating 10% is basically a "scam" - but technically, no, it's perfectly legal and actually doing good for a charity. But we can all call it a scam right?

Those consultants you worked with... they made their clients huge gains? What's Olajuwon's track record looking like? Meh. You cant teach post moves rooted in instinct, reaction and god-given talent.

What did Sam Cassell say about Hakeem's style of play compared to KG's? Hakeem just wanted the ball, then he'd figure something out. KG - it was all repetition and planning, you know, things you can actually teach.

"If Dwight had that kind of time with Hakeem, the teachings would have sunk in"

    Hakeem >>>>>>> Patrick

Give Dwight unlimited time with Hakeem and I'm sure he would improve.

Yao work ethic was ridiculous and much greater than Dwights of course....but that wasn't my point.

Yao already had the shooting touch, ft's and moves (tho in slow motion...lol) before he even met Ewing, so all this talk about Ewing the "teacher" is overrated as all hell as is.

CD probably taught Yao more isht than Ewing ever did.

    No, you cant

You can not define words the way *you* want to and expect the rest of us to go along with it.

The word "scam" is inherently bad, by definition....so to use it in the way you have says to us you consider Hakeem to be criminal and a cheat.

    http://www.thefreedictionary.com/scam

You can check any other online dictionary if you wish, they all say the same thing.

If players come to Hakeem and ask him to help them with their game, should he turn them away if he thinks they wont or can't pick up what he is teaching? That isnt his way, I think we all know that....he is going to do what he can to help them and hope it helps in the real world...but he can not control if they choose not to work on what he has taught them.

Sorry Ziggy, and I say this with supreme calmness in my mind and fingers....You Are Wrong.

Still wrong, bro, LULZ. Scam is about "intent." You think Hakeem takes on these individuals thinking that as long as he gets their money, he could care less about how they do? Or that he is deceiving them? Fine, you believe that. I feel it's an insult to refer to Hakeem as a scam artist. But, you go with your cynical self, sir. Power to you.

The Dream, a proven elite NBA player offering his private services at a niche price is labelled a scam? And to even equate such services with profits from Katrina? Boy, its not about the dream being a scam, more like who is the scum.

CD is one of the best big man coaches on Earth, that's not a detriment to Patrick's coaching skills.

Yao's mentioned on multiple occasions that he learned a lot from Ewing. For example:

    http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/b...patrick-ewing-working-knicks-article-1.340635

Yao and Ewing worked closely together for three seasons in Houston. Yao credits Ewing and Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau for helping his develop into one of the NBA's elite big men.

"Patrick was able to teach me a lot," Yao says. "He's been very good for my career."

If Dwight improves here in Houston under McHale and Dawson (and the occasional appearance from Dream), it's because he's matured and is finally putting in the work. Not that he hasn't had good coaching in his career.

I'd imagine Dwight would learn much more about post moves from the trio of McHale, Dawson and Dream than Clifford Ray.
