Garcia played 40 minutes tonight, wow. Delfino played 10 and only attempted 1 shot.

Not to take anything away from Delfino, he had several huge plays in the previous game. Just noting that 40min is a lot

    It is.

Also Delfino has a fore left foot.

So, where has Francisco Garcia been all this time? They knew he was a solid veteran player; they said so.

Wouldnt be surprised if there was some "hot hand gets the minutes," in there too.

I knew Garcia could shoot. I'm most surprised by his ability to play D on Durant as best you could and get under his skin perfectly. That is the true X-Factor right there.

If not for Garcia, we would of been talking about the offseason. His defense got Durant frustrated, we've been playing Durant too. I'm glad Garcia has taken on the role of facing Durant because he is not playing scared and playing with emotion. He could be our Mario Elie, if we don't stop playing.

Funnily enough, i tend to think that if we did pull off the coup and got Dwight, Cisco would probably come back on vet's min, because of how much he seems to love this whole playoff thing, it's like a fat kid and cake.

And if we don't, I'm sure Miami are watching and thinking "hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm someone who can guard Durant and hit 3's for a long period", since Battier is getting old (even Metta tweeted that Garcia reminds him of Battier)

Nope, aint gonna happen. I do believe he loves this team and loves Houston but this his kast decent contract and after displaying his defensive skills with his amazing shooting someone will throw at least 10 mil for 3 years at him and maybe more. # point shooting is a hot commodity in the league right now. And if you can play a little d along with it you can get minutes.

I like Garcia more than Delfino for this team. It's ashame he won't be on this squad next year unless Morey postpones free agency for 1 year. Someone else will definitely pick him up. San Anotonio Memphis and if I were OKC I would sign him and let Martin walk.

Garcia is definitely an upgrade over Del3ino. I'd like to see him back next season.

Garcia has definnitely done wonders for his stock. He has frustrated the leagues best scorer and shown his offensive prowess as well. Big props to Garcia.

Damn. Now I'm torn. Any run at a big name free agent this offseason will require declining that team option on Garcia. But he's brought so much to this group, especially in terms of toughness. Not to take anything away from the good years guys like Harden, Parsons, and Asik have had, but teams with championship aspirations need players like Garcia who become their heart and soul(much like Elie was in the mid-90s). So do the Rockets try to keep him while making their inevitable push to sign a max player? And if so, how?

All that moaning and groaning by CH was for nothing.

most definitely because Garcia is a great all around wing player. He has that veteran experience that could be key for our future. But don't forget delfino is still nursing an injury so we wont see him having a great game for a while. Delfino and Garcia would make a great lineup at the wing, since both are knockdown 3s

Agreed. I thought he was a veteran contract throw-in who could shoot off the bench if need be. Very surprised.

Also, this is Garcia's second time in the playoffs - his first was in his rookie season in Sacremento, playing limited minutes. I'm sure he's very excited to be here playing.
