0.8blk/17min ... for the last two seasons.

If you think Wade or Lebron have high shot blocking rates, check out their stats vs Garcia.

    You'll be surprised.

Garcia appears to be a very good help shot blocker from the wing position

He likely takes Anderson's minutes if McHale keeps Delfino in the starting lineup. Personally I think DMo or Robinson becomes the starter at PF, so that Delfino moves back to the his role as the backup 2/3.

I disagree with many of you negatives here. Garcia is a role player that can help this team, good pick up by Morey.

He can give Harden a break. We need that.

Garcia can come off the bench so that Parsons doesn't need to play as many minutes per game, ~39 minutes per right now.

When staring SF doesn't need to play as many minutes or be on the court at all times .... he has more energy to play defense and isn't as afraid to pick up fouls for being physical.

If Garcia is what you say he is, I am happy with moving Delfino to the 2 spot to make Anderson expendable

Garcia's contract might end up being the most important piece going into this Summer for the Rockets.

It can help bridge the gap salary wise on a trade for a max salary player, and it might actually help keep Delfino out of any potential trade that they need salary for this Summer.

On the court, I expect McHale will try to use Garcia some off the bench with the youngsters to help spread the floor with his 3 point shooting, and be somewhat of a stabilizing force that Delfino was before he was moved into the starting rotation.

He definitely won't be around next year. His 6.4M will not be taken up for sure.

He's a nice guy but he'll unlikely make a difference.

My question is do the Rox have the ability to renegotiate Garcia's deal and give him an extra $1 million on this season's deal in exchange for eliminating his $1 million guarantee for next season? He meets the criteria for having his contract renegotiated. What I can't make out from looking at www.cbafaq.com is whether we can eliminate the guarantee for next season and not be charged for it on next season when we waive him. This would be a wiser use of our cap space then letting his contract hang around and seeing if we can trade him in some sort of convoluted deal. The pure cap space is better value than his contract.

Watch it will be Delfino as starting PF and Garcia as backup PF so Mchale can play his veterans.

Cisco is a quality veteran with leadership skills, which we need for our playoff run with a bunch of youngsters. He will fill his role well with his 3 point shot, defense, and experience.

Garcia is just a good all around basketball player. He fits the mold of someone who would play for the Spurs. Not to derail, but man everyone who plays for POP is so fundamentally sound.

definitely a positive addition, especially on the defensive side. his athleticism has dropped off a lot, and he has increased his range because of this. his smarts make up for the dwindling physical skills, does a little bit of everything on both sides of the ball. i would compare his addition to the tayshaun prince to the grizzlies thing. would really help the Rockets come playoff time.

    Solid all rounder for sure.

Would be a good presence to have on the bench to mentor / guide a young team.

Saw this guy play last night and he looks older than steve smith, he has lost all lateral quickness. We were lucky Batum was not playing.
