If we get Brewer, Garcia will have to play the 2. I guess it doesn't really matter, they'll all be playing the wing positions. The positions also depend on who they're matched up against.
This is big! He is a great two way player that perfectly fits our team - he could back up Harden and Parsons and he signs for the vet minimum, leaving us the room exception to add another rotational piece. Our bench right now: Beverly Garcia Jones Moti (assuming Asik starts...) Smith Not bad... Not bad at all. Now if we could move Asik for Smith and add another quality role player via free agency, we have one if the best rosters of the league...

Salary cap situation is going to be irrelevant with two max contracts on the team and bird rights to our key players and you're going to want to stay over the cap anyway to be able to use that MLE and Bi-Annual exception.

Some people still hate the 2patt trade for Robinson and Garcia. Garcia for 2pat would of made me happy, not at the time but after seeing Garcia play its obvious morey was after Garcia all along. Greatest. Gm. ever.
I've heard that we have a commitment from Dwight Howard and I've heard we locked up Garcia. The one I feel most comfortable with and think will produce a legit leader for Houston is the Garcia acquisition.
