Francisco+Camby and to a certain extent Brooks. I like the veteran leadership.

He's got the body mass of a 5'10'' guy, stretched out to a 6'7'' frame.

garcia vs defino? i like garcia more. he is better on defense. his 3 shows more consistency than delfino. delfino is kinda streaky. when he is on, no one can stop him. but when he is off, he can have a game like 1-8 3 pts. can't watch. i think rox made a right choice.

Actually, this isn't true in the sense that the Rockets can just re-sign him like we could a Bird Rights player. When the Rockets declined Garcia's option, he became a FA and we lost all Bird Rights to him. Therefore we have to wait 2 years to get early bird rights, and 3 years for full bird rights.

If Garcia opts out, and the Rockets wish to re-sign him for more than the minimum, then they'd have to use their MLE(or bi-annual exception) to do so. Just like they would for any other players. There's no special privileges for a player you signed just 1 year ago. It's why NY was unable to retain Copeland, because they only had the tax-paying MLE to work with. It's also part of the reason why Morey's typical 3-year deals ensures Rockets can match any offer regardless of their own salary situation.

Infectious leadership personality that helped the younger players especially against OKC. There are a very few players who can do the defensive job he did on Durant.

Incorrect. Garcia's Bird rights are preserved. The Rockets will have full Bird rights on Garcia next summer.
