I can't read this crap every day for the next 6 months! If you guys are going to spend your summer speculating trades all day every day, then I don't think I will able to check out CF's.net until next season. I get so tired of everyone trying to be a GM.

How about we stop making up rumors and wait until something actually happens!

 

You do realize that this is a Rockets board? You further realize that you entered the Rockets section of the Rockets board? You further realize that you entered a trade speculation thread involving the Rockets in the Rockets section of a Rockets board?

What are people suppossed to talk about in the offseason? Is it okay for "real" journalists in The Chronicle to speculate but not the fans?

My mistake... I had no idea this was a Rockets board. Please forgive me HOVA, er uh, Jay Z.

But seriously, I'm as interested in the Rockets revamping project as much as the next guy... I check clutchfans almost everyday... what I don't do, is is waste my time (and everyone elses who reads it) dreaming up potential trades. Everyone has a wish list for the Rockets... but we all know that CD won't come through for us. If anything, he'll screw up the dynamics of the team by signing some scrub to a multi billion dollar deal.

We need a Power Forward first and foremost... guard play won't beat you out west as much as the 4 spot will (the MVP the last 3 years has been a Power forward). If we can trade SF3 for an equally talented 4 (ie. Brand or McGrady), I MIGHT do it. But lets not forget how nice it has been to have a talented point guard on our team... Remember the days of Rhodrik Rhodes, Matt Maloney, Brent Price and Bryce Drew. If we get rid of Francis, who can we really get that will solve our problems? We don't have a 1st rounder this year... Just any old scrub won't do. Bibby, Parker, Cassell, Nash and Payton would school that scrub on a nightly basis. Then you would be b****ing about us needing a point guard.
