Franics Runs His Mouth After the Blowout to the Mavs

Steve worked hard to put himself in the position he's in, so its Steves prerogative to say what he wants.

man i use to wish i was bit taller, so i could be a baller... but I dont think so anymore,,,,you computer guys would analyze to death every word I said...makes me apperciate the way Charles Barkley was Charles Barkley and not some robot programmed to say the right things to the media and fans.

Funny thing I posted a forum a MONTH ago about finding a true point guard and moving Francis to the 2. Now people are just starting to realize that. I got smacked all around by people in the forum telling me crap bull**** like "We cannot mess with the chemistry of the team...blah blah blah". What freakin' chemistry????!!! Any team with the type of players we have on this team would have had a much better record than we currently have (23-17) Wut a Joke!

Haha, actually, that sounds like smacker smack than the original quotes by Steve.

If he were to say something like that, it would sound like he wasn't giving much credit to the Mavs for playing well to defeat them and rather saying that the Rockets merely had a bad night. And "we won't allow it to happen again"? Now THAT is smack. It's like a euphamism for "watch your ass next game".

Sorry, I'm gonna have to agree with Juan on this one. Francis' comments weren't exactly said with bitter hate towards the Mavs, or at least not what you quoted. That was NOT "smack"...

Not only that, but even if it was, I really don't see what the problem is all you people have with it. It's just all part of the game to me, and I kinda like to see it happen cuz it adds some fun and emotion to games as long as it's not said with any kinda really cold intentions to knock an individual star player's play because of some feud or something...

Too many ******* haters on this board. It's getting really old and depressing.

I cannot believe nobody picked up on what I said! It's only a reference to the greatest quote in Rocket history!

As usual it's a big blowup over nothing. What Francis said isn't by any stretch of a sane imagination, trash talking. Francis did accept blame, praised Dallas, and said he hopes his team plays better.

Sorry there's not really any big news here at all.
