I used to live in Houston until I moved 3 years ago, and WB didn't have the news. But when I got to CA where I live now, WB does have a newscast at 10. So even though I don't live in NY, I believe that NY WB has the news.

Dr. of Dunk, I lived in Houston for 12 years, I just never remembered WB 39 having the news. I always watched the Eyewitness News on Channel 13 with Bob Allen, Does he still work there as sportscaster?? I remember Rockets games used to be shown on UPN 20.

This type of thing seems to happen every once in a while here at this BBS. A new poster comes in, comes up with a scoop, rumour or update on anything to do with the Rockets. Most of the posters ridicule the poor guy, then find themselves apologizing at the end. Of course, for every newbie that turns out shutting everyone else up, there's about three that fabricate the story. Thats why, to avoid looking like an idiot, even if I'm 99.9 % sure the guy is making it up or heard wrong, I don't post until its settled.
