hey guys the new slam magazine is out with alternate francis/tmac covers and there is an article on both players. I tried the slam website to see if they had the articles online but they haven't updated it yet, its still on the last mag with the shaq interview. Its a pretty good read from what I read if anyone can repost it here or find it online it would be really helpful. I just remember TMac calling the Magic GM Sissybrod and still being pissed at how he never got any help in terms of the team trying to get some FAs or make trades to help him out. Also its the nba preview issue and SLAM ranks the rockets to be #4 in the southwest div behind SA,Grizz,Dallas in that order. That doesnt really seem right to me but oh well SLAM has been known to get their predictions wrong

This was a pretty good article. I felt the writer was pretty fair in his depiction of the situation. But what the heck was the point of this: Huh? Does anybody need to mention this stuff. A SG with a better handle than a 7ft PF. No kidding. And it's such a high compliment to be a better shooter than Shaq. Fella's got to work on his comparisons.
good article on T-Mac, steve is really a classy guy i mean he could have come out and bashed the whole organization but chose not to, I really admire and respect steve now and hope he does great in orlando.
For real. There's only one person McGrady gets compared to, and it's therapist #8. And sometimes Pippen. Evan
I think the Grizzlies will fight the Rockets for positioning. Dallas Mavericks might not even make the playoffs with the incredible adjustments they have to make this season without their lead point guard. If this was the 1st season that Yao was the focus point in the offense, the Rockets would be inconsistent. This is Yao's 3rd season, and this is the 2nd season in which he is the focus of the offense. Dirk Nowitzki is going to be the focus of the offense for the first time in his career. Those open looks won't be too open if he has to create his own shot.
1. Spurs 2. Rockets or Grizz 3. Dallas 4. Hornets I just don't see why people think Dallas is a better team. They balanced out their roster during the summer, but they lost some big names. I think Nash was a HUGE part of that team, Terry is good, but Nash is Nash. Stack is washed up.
