When is the last time a "pure" point guard won a championship?

Kidd hasn't won a title.

Flopton certainly hasn't won a ring.

In fact, the last team based around a point guard to win a title was the Pistons, led by a shoot-first pass-second guard in Isaiah Thomas.

Distributers to not lead teams to titles. Scorers do. Steve must stay with the Rockets.

As for McGrady, what makes him any better than Steve? He has led the Magic to low-seeded playoff losses in the easy east. Does anyone think the Rockets wouldn't be a higher seeded team if they were in the eastern conference?
