I would trade Steve for Kidd in a heartbeat. Kidd is fundamentally sound where as Steve is not. Kidd play defense and offense and assist his teammates. Steve only has offense and that's it, no defense, no assist. Also Rockets need to remove Mobley if they want to get better at the 2 guard and the team in general. Mobley in my opinion is too small to guard anybody in this league and he is the same like Steve in that they both provide offensive punch and not much defense and assist or play any fundamental basketball to win games. Steve + Mobley for Kidds and Jefferson or somebody.
We can never sign Brand OUTRIGHT. When Rice's contract comes out the book next year, Francis's max contract will kick in, so we are still OVER THE CAP.
