Jeff, Kids dont have to know about the whole game of basketball but they need to the Rockets or dont vote because there opinions dont count if they dont know.

dtown333, Chill? I am not even close to getting started on you youngsters. All that crossover stuff is garbage. These crossover dribblers dont even know what there crossing over for. The crossover is to score not for an exibition of stupidity. Francis the best Rocket is a joke to me and so are these fans who voted for him. Francis is not even in the top 10 all time of Rockets history.

Okay, I agree with you about that dribbling. But as far as all the other comments you've made, I just think you should give your boys a little credit, maybe even a little time. I know it's kinda frustrating to be a Rockets fan right about now, but you should know a lot better than us youngsters that patience is of virtue and will only make the good times sweeter in the end.

I remember back in my days when I first started watchin ball....92'. My first game was Rocks vs. Cavs. I remember staying up late on a school night to watch Olajuwon come out and block Starks on the wing on his 3 pt attempt. I remember goin to school the next morning with kids askin me what the heck was wrong with me and watched in awe as I told them I stayed up til 11 at night. (I was in 2nd or 3rd grade at the time) I remember Dream doin up Shaq, Robinson, anyone else that came in his way. IT IS TOTAL BS THAT THEY COULD EVEN THINK OF VOTING STEVIE OVER DREAM. Steve shouldn't have even been close and he wouldnt have if the poll was taken by the *ahem* more educated of the fans.

dtown333, Yes hopefully the rockets can turn things around in years to come. As far as Francis being number 1, he is not even in the top 15 and maybe not even the top 20. Time waits for no man.

As much as I enjoyed watching Nolan, I think that Campbell fellow may be second to Hakeem.

Didn't you hear what rockHEAD said? It's a POPULARITY CONTEST; otherwise, it wouldn't be 100% dependent on fans voting.

As far as Francis goes, he shouldn't have been in the final 8.

Campbell would be #3 for me because, in his sport, he doesn't rank nearly as high as Ryan does. Ryan is a CERTAIN first-ballot hall of famer who still leads MLB in strikeouts and no hitters. Campbell was a great running back but Ryan is in the top 10 pitchers ever to play the game of baseball. They were both pretty damn awesome, though.

    Jeff

I understand your point. Ryan and Campbell were both first ballot hall of famers.

Jeff, You have to understand that baseball is not a sport it is a game like checkers and chess. Any fool could play baseball. Ralph Sampson is no 2 all time in Houston Sports.

    Lewis Lloyd,

Your ignorance amazes me. As I understand you, basketball is the only real sport.

It takes just as much skill to play baseball as basketball, albeit different ones.

So, if you think baseball is so easy, why don't you just go straight to MLB without any seasoning or practice and try and hit the Big Unit or Curt Schilling or Greg Maddux?

Ignorance? Dont you think your acting real simple there partner, I have a right to my opinion and I feel baseball is not a sport. There are hardly any athletes in the sport. Old out of shape 40 year olds are in it and even illegal aliens sneaking over get in it. Any fool can play baseball and if you dont like the way I feel to bad.

DAROckets haha I dont know who you are or what your talking about, is that some kind of april's fools joke. Fill me in.

What qualifies as an athlete then to you?

I understand you have the right to your own opinion, but Baseball players are not unathletic. Some are like an Edgar Martinez, but don't tell me guys like Oliver Miller, and Glen Rice now are athletes then. I would argue that Baseball hitters have a harder job than a basketball player. Hitting that little round ball coming at 90 plus mph with movement is very difficult. A lot of hitters go to eye specialists to get better than perfect vision to help them hit.

Btw, do you consider football players to be unathletic as well?

WHOA homeboy, what the hell are you even talking about here? To start off, isn't that a little hypocritical of you to say that if I call out other Rockets fans that I'm being a hater while in the same line you're calling me out? Let me ask you this: does that mean you're a hater?
